How we work

From introductions to delivery and beyond

At Moving-In, we are committed to assisting our customers as best we can and meeting their needs and requirements each and every day. Curious about how we do that? Find out about our process below – from first introductions to delivery


Step 1: Initial contact and a relaxed introductory consultation

As soon as you get in touch with us or have requested a quote through our website, you will be assisted by one of the members of our project team. We will be identifying all your needs and requirements in a personal consultation.

We will be discussing all the various options together and are keen to find out how we can make your life easier. We will also schedule a free property assessment if this applies to your project.

Step 2: The quote and the contract

Once we have a clear idea of your needs and requirements, we will draw up a quote for you. We provide interiors for every budget and will adjust the contents and price of the quote depending on your needs.

If you agree, we will draw up a flexible rental contract for you. We offer a furniture rental solution for all rental periods – for an indefinite period or for just a single day. Our rental contracts always have a notice period of 1 month. And if you’re looking to cancel the contract before its end date, then a lot can be achieved in mutual consultation, so please keep in touch with your designated point of contact. 

Step 3: We get to work on your behalf

Once the contract is signed: we’ll get to work on your behalf! Our project managers will outline the planning and logistical activities, amongst other things, and all your furniture will be prepared and made ready for transport by our warehouse staff – and because we stock all our furniture in-house, all of this can be arranged in a flash.

Step 4: We MOVE

And then it’s time for the big move! Our movers will be on your doorstep at the agreed time to assemble and install everything as quickly and thoroughly as possible. 

We can offer various additional services to help you furnish your property depending on the project and requirement, such as interior decoration, which includes laying down new flooring, painting the walls and installing window coverings. We can even help you install your TV and internet connection. Please ask your project team liaison about the various options.

Step 5: Delivery and evaluation

Once we have finished and the property looks like a beautiful new home, it will be delivered to you. We will always give you call one day after installation and handover to evaluate your experience. This is to ensure that you are 100% satisfied with the work we have done.

Step 6: Service and warranty period

Naturally we will be on hand to assist after delivering your property. Throughout the term of the contract, you will continue to have the same contact to whom you can always turn to for questions or comments. In addition, the warranty period is identical to the term of the rental contract. This means that if anything breaks or needs replacing, we will take care of it for you.

 And if you want to keep hold of the furniture beyond the end date of your rental contract, then you can choose to extend the contract or buy the furniture from us. If you choose to extend your contract, the renewal period can be terminated with notice on a monthly basis, which means you retain flexibility.

You also have the option of purchasing instead of hiring the furniture you have selected from the start. Please contact our team for more information about purchasing or renting our furniture.
