Furniture rental for emergency reception sites

Whether it’s the refugee crisis, the war in Ukraine or the terrible natural disaster in Turkey in Syria, these events affect us all. The refugees who come to the Netherlands have often been through a lot and are looking for a safe place where they can have a roof over their heads. The Dutch Government is currently working on a law that requires municipalities to contribute to the reception of asylum seekers. For you, as a municipality, province, government agency or Security Region, this means that a target will determine how many asylum seekers will have to be accommodated in your municipality or province. 

The plans for this initiative had to be presented and measure has to be put in place by the collaborating bodies by 1 May 2023. However, this is a very brief period to organise a whole lot of things. Even if you have solved the problem of finding premises that can be used as emergency accommodation sites – you’ll still have to organise the furnishing of these premises. The solution? Renting and/or purchasing furniture for emergency accommodation sites.

Furnishing emergency reception sites cannot be compared to furnishing other larger properties, such as apartment complexes. Do you deliver throughout the Netherlands?

Yes, we do! We deliver throughout the Netherlands – including the Wadden Islands. We also provide delivery in parts of Belgium and Germany?

What are soft furnishings and fittings and is this something you provide too?

Soft furnishings and fittings include painting and decorating, vinyl or laminate flooring, window coverings and lighting. Moving-In employs in-house decorators who can provide all of these services, including assembly and installation, ensuring complete furnishing of your property. We also stock these materials ourselves, which means we can take on and finish jobs with

How do I pay your invoices?

Our invoices are sent out on a monthly basis on the first working day of the month. You will be able to pay the amount listed on the invoice via bank transfer, stating the invoice number. 

How quickly can you furnish a home?

We can furnish an entire home including soft furnishings and fittings within 14 days. And if you don’t need any soft furnishings and fittings, then we can even have your property furnished by tomorrow! As flexible as we are, we always to ensure delivery as close to your desired delivery date as possible.

How easy is it to request a quote?

Requesting a quote is very easy to do in just 3 quick steps: 1) select your style, 2) select the items you want and 3) select the desired rental period.
